Indie Shoutout: Zuki’s Quest, …and then it rained, The Inner World
Every now and then we like to give a shoutout to some awesome games or current developments with indie games.
This time we have three very different games from german developers! Zuki’s Quest and The Inner World were just released on iOS and the third title “… and then it rained” is still in development but already worth a look!
Zuki’s Quest is a mobile, turn-based puzzle platformer from our friends of Tinytouchtales who are also from Berlin. You solve puzzles by changing the gravity and moving Zuki through the levels. Every move can have multiple consequences and it’s always good to think about where to jump next. Zuki’s Quest was just released on iOS, get a lot of great reviews and even better is free to download. Check it out now!
The Inner World is a great success story from the student team Studio Fizbin. It’s a lovely adventure game with inspired artwork. The game is successful on PC and just stormed the german iOS charts to rank 1. Moreover they won multiple prices and were just nominated for the German Game Developer Award 2013. At only € 2,69 on iOS the game is a steal. We can only recommend listening to all the praise and getting The Inner World if you like adventures at all.
“… and then it rained” is a brilliantly simple arcade game for mobile by the newly founded Berlin Indie Team Megagon Industries. Even though the game is still in development I had a chance to play it. The game really shines with its minimalistic style and will for sure get you in the flow with its captivating gameplay.
