Indie Shoutout: Schein, Symmetrain, Globosome
Every now and then we like to give a shoutout to some awesome games or current developments with indie games.
We must have a good taste for games. Two of the games we had in earlier Indie Shoutouts The Inner World and Clark just won the German Computergame Prize. Also Beatbuddy who exhibited together with us on gamescom 2013 was one of the winners. Congratulations to our developer-friends!
Schein from Austrian Steam Greenlightwith an awesome new trailer, that you can watch below. Schein is a challenging puzzle platformer built on the myth of a wisp named Irrlicht. Lamps and light is the key element to uncover hidden paths through the murky swamp. Vote now to bring this cool game to Steam! Or grab the demo and give it a go!was just brought to
Symmetrain while at least equally as good as the winners above was also nominated for the German Computergame Prize! Designer Daniel Goffin was also happy IGF Student Showcase Winner 2014 and it shows in the game. Symmetrain is an ingenious mix of an auto-runner and spot-the-difference game mechanics. You should get it right now on the iOS App-Store since it’s already available.
Globosome like all of the games this time was originally developed by a team of students. Navel just released Globosome May 22nd on iOS with a great new Trailer. They were exhibiting their game together with our Team Indie at the Indie Arena booth last month at Quo Vadis. That gave us the chance to already play the game and you should definitely check it out right now if you like tilt controlled games!
